Lootcritter has the latest “leak” for upcoming stuff. Finally, the T6 BoP! But what happened to that T6 Defiant? Why does it have flaps of loose skin on the sides?
Also, Herald Ships lockboxes? Ugh. This alien ship thing is really getting out of hand on STO.

Great… More ugly Cryptic designs.
I know, beauty’s in the eye of the beholder and all, but still… (sigh…)
On the plus side, I wouldn’t mind having a T6 Prometheus and then just using the normal Prometheus skin for it. Same thing with the T6 Defiant.

I was hoping we will never see the very un-Trek-ish Herald designs after the Iconian War is wrapped up, but now their ships are going to stick around…. and in the hands of the Alpha Quadrant Junk Guild (who have been evidently running around refurbishing all sorts of wrecked alien ships).
Seriously, why Cryptic? Did anyone actually ask to fly Herald ships?

The T6 Defiant is based on an early Defiant-class concept artwork, back when the ship was dubbed Valiant-class (and U.S.S. Valiant, accordingly – that named did end up being used elsewhere).
